Visit Us for an Authentic Korean Dining Experience

Craving the bold flavors of Korea while exploring Covent Garden? Shoyu is just a short stroll from Leicester Square, Holborn, and Soho, making us the perfect choice for a delicious lunch, dinner, or weekend treat.

  • Conveniently Located – Only a few minutes' walk from Covent Garden Tube Station.

  • Close to West End Theatres – Just 8 minutes away, ideal for pre- or post-show dining.

  • Open Daily – Join us for lunch and dinner every day of the week!

  • Do you take bookings for large groups?
Absolutely! We welcome groups of all sizes and can accommodate parties of up to 20 people. For groups larger than 6, we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. We can also arrange special set menus for group celebrations – just let us know your preferences when booking.
  • Are your dishes customisable for different spice levels?
Yes, we're happy to adjust the spice levels of most dishes to suit your taste. Our Korean Fried Chicken, for instance, comes in three heat levels: mild, medium, and hot. Just chat with your server about your preference, and we'll make sure your meal is perfectly spiced for you.
  • Do you cater for dietary requirements like gluten-free and vegetarian?
Of course! Many of our dishes can be made gluten-free, and we have a dedicated vegetarian menu. Our kitchen team takes dietary requirements seriously – please inform your server about any allergies or dietary restrictions when ordering, and we'll guide you through the best options.
  • What's the best way to dine at your restaurant – is it better to share dishes?
While all our dishes can be enjoyed individually, Korean cuisine is traditionally shared. We recommend ordering a variety of dishes for the table to get the full Korean dining experience. Our servers are always happy to suggest the perfect combination and portion sizes for your group.
  • What are your peak hours, and how long might the wait be without a booking?
We're typically busiest from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on weekends and during weekday lunchtimes (12:30 PM - 2 PM). Wait times during peak hours can be 20-45 minutes without a reservation. For the best experience, we recommend booking ahead for dinner or coming slightly earlier/later than peak times if you prefer to walk in.
  • What type of Korean dishes do you serve at Shoyu?
At Shoyu, we offer a wide variety of authentic Korean dishes, from sizzling Korean BBQ grilled right at your table to hearty bibimbap, spicy kimchi stews, and flavorful noodle dishes. Whether you're a fan of bold flavors or comforting meals, our menu has something to delight every palate.
